Product and Marketing Manager Our client is a leading international banking and insurance group.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product & Marketing, the incumbent is expected to work closely with colleagues in our client’s Insurance Regional Office, our client’s Insurance business operations in the ASP region, our client’s Personal Financial Services, Commercial Banking, CIBM, Investment Services, and 3rd party product providers on the following key deliverables:

Maximizing relationships with Preferred Strategic Partners (PSP) to complement and support our client’s Insurance region-wide manufacturing capabilities and growth ambitions
Customer (value) driven product innovation and development, and optimizing product portability in the region
Developing Retirement solutions for the 50+ age group aligned to Future of Retirement findings
Providing general support on other marketing activities e.g. brand development
Principal Accountabilities:

Assist in the delivery of customer centric propositions and marketing strategy for the insurance business across the region
Support the development and monitor the implementation of product strategies and propositions across the region
Develop and monitor the implementation of post retirement propositions across the region
Support colleagues in the development of strategic partnerships and brand
Demonstrate strong teamwork to ensure excellent delivery of service and development of individuals
Ensure that all operations and activities undertaken comply with legal & regulatory requirements and Group’s direction
Requirements:

Over 7 years’ relevant experience, preferably in product development, in the insurance or financial services industry. With knowledge in "structured investment products" from fund management, investment banking or retail banking is highly preferred.
A strong ‘technician’ who is not afraid of details and can demonstrate an end-customer working orientation.
Resourceful, self-starting, enthusiastic, lateral thinker who is open to ideas, challenges assumptions, and has a willingness to learn.
Team player who is culturally sensitive and adaptable to different working environments.
Good influencing, organizational and planning skills to develop relationships across different departments and functions internally and externally with PSPs.
Strong communication skills with high written and oral proficiency in English. Conversational proficiency in other Asian languages is not mandatory but is a plus.
