Assistant Manager, Claims Job Purpose
v To ensure quality, productivity, cost effectiveness and promptness of all claims payment processing; accountable for accuracy and documentation. Supervise advisor to achieve personal and company’s objective.
Accountabilities and Activities
v Maintain a consistent and positive customer service image when interacting with customers
v Complete daily assigned work within targeted turnaround time
v Process claims payment
v Ensure claims payment is assessed and evaluated against the terms of the policy and conform to regulatory compliance
v Make appropriate request for further information for claims assessment and follow up appropriately.
v Execute all communications with other departments, providers, customers and their appointed intermediaries relating to matter such as claims status, benefit entitlement, exclusion etc
v Handling inquiries and follow up customers’ request within targeted turnaround time
v Support claims advisors in handling customers’ request and follow up customer’s inquires
To be successful in the position, you should have
v Bachelor's degree required
v 3 to 4 years' on the job experience in medical claims payment processing
v Medical knowledge (diagnosis, procedures)
v Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is required.
v Proficiency in MS office applications and Chinese Word Processing
v Demonstrated ability to deal with customers
v High levels of integrity and trust
