The Head of Head Single Risk Hub Asia Casualty is responsible for driving earnings for the relevant lines of business and industry segments in Asia and ANZ, in conjunction with the respective Client Markets teams. He/she ensures a high quality of Single Risk underwriting insteering value determination and product management. He/she defines and recommends Single Risk product strategies in close corporation with the respective client teams and is responsible for their execution. In his/her role as Head Single Risk Hub Asia he/she is setting appropriate guidelines and processes, and initiating measures to ensure underwriting standards as well as handling of referrals. Further tasks include portfolio steering measures including validation of projections, planning and business planning, profitability analysis and audits. In addition, he/she identifies training needs and performs training in the scope of the know how transfer in respect of Casualty business in Asia on an ongoing and ad hoc basis.
Job Requirements
Over 10 years of experience and extensive knowledge in insurance industry and underwriting
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Good business English skills
Physical demands:
i)Business travel (up to 25% of time), including extended flight time
ii) Extensive computer usage
iii) Aavailability during non-office hours
