KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
Responsible for all aspects of VEB portfolio in Hong Kong, including:
People management, P/L management , Business development , Distribution management
Strategic direction setting and implementation
Customer service management
Manage a team of people within the VEB team in the Hong Kong Office. Defines own business strategy, implements action plans across business area
Achieve budget across areas of responsibility. Work across functionally with other areas in AIG to achieve corporate objectives
Manage the impact of regulatory change, both internally and externally (audits, regulations)
Lead and direct the business to build a high performance culture by ensuring the team have the required skills/knowledge to meet current/future business needs
Develops business through quality process laid out.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
5 years sales and management background
Track record of successful change management
Proven people management skills
Strong commercial background
Ability to work in a matrix organisation
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans
Proven track record of leading and delivering profitable returns
Proven ability in developing business, and managing profitable growth
