Network Specialist - Investment Bank (35K-45K) Sep 08Our client, a global leading investment bank, is seeking a professional Network Specialist to provide necessary network operation support to the network infrastructure. It would be a golden chance to utilise your expertise in a tier 1 investment bank.
You will Perform Daily Network Operation activities (mainly on Cisco), e.g., first line network problem restoration, network capacity monitoring, and proactive network (alert) monitoring as well as configuration house keeping, daily network health check, daily global turnover meeting & network diagram update. You will also co-ordinate in MIS reporting of the network infrastructure, network recovery plan, problem escalation to the global networking team & the vendors. In addition, you will also maintain the GWAN diagram, WAN/LAN/MAN links and vendor contact information.
You should be a degree holder with at least 5 years experience in a large scale Cisco networking infrastructure environment, preferable within the financial industry. Knowledge of LAN/WAN QIP/DNS/DHCP, PIX Firewall and Checkpoint Firewall operating experience is a must.
The best candidate should have excellent communication and critical problem solving skills, business driven, able to deal within a pressurised environment, business driven and have an excellent track record of working within tight deadlines.
