Position Summary:
This role involves the effective marketing, project management and system implementation of underwriting systems (Magnum) across Asia. You will work closely with external clients and collaborate with internal stakeholders in coordinating after-sales support.
Principal Accountabilities:
Project manage Magnum implementations and upgrades to deadlines.
Assists with the project scoping, specification, build and testing to ensure a successful implementation delivery.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to enhance Magnum's value to the organisation.
Promotes Magnum both internally and externally, in line with the Magnum strategy by delivering professional demonstration presentations.
Contribute to the continuing development of Magnum, enhancing generic rules and generating ideas for future development.
To undertake the necessary Management Information analysis and report delivery.
Qualifications Required:
-- At least 5 years underwriting experience, in particular to life or health insurance will be an advantage
-- Excellent project management and networking skills
-- Proficient IT skills, including the ability to confidently use some of the advance features of MS Word/Excel/Access
-- Experience of Life Office's new business systems and processes
-- Progressing with Insurance and Underwriting professional exams
-- Six Sigma experience or qualification an advantage
-- Knowledge of main products and financial services market developments
-- Articulated standard of written and verbal communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
-- Team player and sensitive to cultural differences with a strong client focus
-- Independent and creative. Desire to develop and take on new responsibilities
