Underwrite and review complicated medical applicatons with sub-standard authority.
Supervise a team of underwriters to ensure smooth daily operations within preset turnaround and service quality.
Liaise with agents and corporate departments.
Provide underwriting training to junior underwriters.
Perform user acceptance test for system and involve in system enhancement.
Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree holder with Professional Qualification of FLMI.
At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in underwriting of which at least 4 years in medical underwriting.
Sound knowledge of insurance products and good underwriting skills.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Good command of English and Chinese.
PC literate in Win Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing.
