Head of Underwriting (Our Ref.: BI-OP-GC-262-08) Job Description:
In this position you manage all types of challenges including taking a lead position in the execution of a top insurance company’s underwriting & marketing strategies, conducting performance evaluations, and developing agency relationships. You develop, supervise and motivate a team of underwriters to meet departmental performance targets. You need to provide underwriting training to agency force and internal staff of life operations, and undertake ad hoc projects as assigned.
Key Requirements:
University degree
At least 10 years life underwriting experience
Sound knowledge of insurance products and underwriting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen
Fluent English and Cantonese are needed
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Underwriting Manager or Senior Underwriting Officer
