Assistant Supervisor (Employee Benefits Division) (Ref: J145) The Job:
Assist superiors to have a proper allocation of duties among their subordinates

Ensure policies are correctly and efficiently issued

Check, authorize and sign documents according to the authorize limit

Supervise the clerical staff to handle daily tasks

Accept business according to the pre-set underwriting authority

Assist superiors to handle incoming enquires

Assist superiors to review renewal business terms

Provide quotation of group insurance to clients and intermediaries

Provide supports to both superiors and subordinates on day-to-day operation and accept any additional responsibility or activities relevant to the department from time to time assigned by the superiors


The Person:
Knowledge in underwriting

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing)

Good spoken and written English and Chinese

F7 or University Grade

3-5 years relevant experience

Qualification of FLMI is an advantage

Supervisory skills
