System Engineer / Linux Specialist Sep 08
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Linux server environment in good conditions
Monitor and maintain a high available system infrastructure
Cooperate closely with the development teams to provide support and optimize application and server performance
Deploy and manage server applications and services
Design architecturally and implement high available and clustering systems
Requirement:
Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in solid Linux administration
Good experience in supporting web infrastructure on Linux platform, Apache Web Servers, JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL on Linux
Knowledge in LDAP server and Samba an advantage
Some experience in shell script and Perl programming
Self-motivated, mature, independent and good team player with sound communication skills
Fast learner with passion on latest technologies and server applications
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
With pleasant, creative, organized and outgoing personality
Mature, self-motivated, independent, target oriented and with good analytical skill
14 months basic salary plus attractive package
