Senior Consultant (System Analyst), Financial Services Sector Reporting to the Manager, this position will involve in all stages of the system development life cycle. Assignments range in complexity from requirement analysis, system design to developing recommendations for complete business solutions or technical applications. Candidate will be required to do software development, system testing, documentation, maintaining and supporting application systems, as well as assist in proposal preparation and RFP response.
To qualify, the ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent with 5 to 7 years of experience in systems development and implementation. You should have:
Extensive development experience in Microsoft Windows, .Net or J2EE platform
Experience in system design, analysis and problem solving
Good programming skills in one or more areas: Visual Basic, VB Script, Crystal Report, Visual C++, C#, ASP, Java (JUnit, Swing, JMS, EJB, Hibernate, Spring, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services), JBoss, Tomcat, SQL Server, Oracle, Windows, UNIX
Hands on experience on UML methodology and case tools such as Rational Rose is preferable
Knowledge and experience in the financial services Industry especially on imaging, payment, risk management, anti-money laundering, fraud or retail delivery solutions would be an advantage
Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills
Good communication skills in English and Cantonese, Mandarin optional
