Director of Sales – MICE Post Date: 16 May 09Our client looking for a high calibre candidates for the position of Director of Sales, MICE. They are looking for people with drive, passion, and confidence to join our team.

DUTIES

Lead the M.I.C.E. team to meet budgeted revenue in group segment through continuous liaison with event organizers in developing new business opportunities, as well as development and implementation of promotions in targeting M.I.C.E. business

REQUIREMENTS

University education preferable
Minimum 5 years of experience in Rooms & Convention Sales in which 2 years in a supervisory role
Good knowledge of M.I.C.E. segment
Close relations with trade partners, professional conference organizers, event agencies and industry associations
Proven sales track record with extensive market knowledge
Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the M.I.C.E. sector
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Exceptional communication skills in both English and Chinese
