Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager
Supervises the execution of all daily operations
Create talk of the town awareness
Prepares and update individual Departmental Operations Manuals
Adheres strictly to and implements departmental budgets as previously prepared. Review forecast to ensure sales opportunities are maximized
Holds daily shift briefings with all staff within the Bar + Lounge, and pass on updated or new policies within the F&B department and the hotel
Suggests and upon approval from the Management, prepares action plans and carries out new promotions as often as possible within the confines of the position
Develops good relationships with suppliers and providers for the benefit of Bar + Lounge, and wherever possible, for the benefit of the hotel
Delivers the brand promise and exceptional guest service at all times
Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
Responds properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation, and should be familiar with all Fire procedures in relation to facilities within the bar and lounge area
REQUIREMENT
Certified Mixologist with a strong clientele network
Should be immaculately dressed and well groomed at all times.
Familiarity with the Club Scene in Hong Kong would be an asset and up to date with the latest trends in club jazz and hottest jazz bands that are making an impact both locally and possibly overseas
Excellent communication skills in both written & spoken English and Chinese
