Travel Consultant (Counter) (Ref.:STTSL/TC/03/04J) Post Date: 03 Apr 09Job Duties:
Handle customer travel enquiries and booking reservations;
Handle daily tour and ticketing quotations, follow up on reservations and operations;
Provide clerical support;
Ensure accuracy on all tickets and documents issued;
Responsible for frontline counter sales;
Establish and maintain good customer relations.
Requirements:
Secondary 5 or above;
At least 2 years of relevant experience in travel agents / travel industries;
Proficiency in Abacus and knowledge of ticket issuance are an advantage;
Computer literate and familiar with MS Office;
Good command of both English & Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Customer and servicing oriented;
Outgoing, self-motivated and independent;
Able to work under pressure and work on shift, including Sundays and Public Holidays.
