Senior Manager - Trade Services (Greater China) Post Date: 11 Mar 09Responsibilities
Plan, organize, manage, execute and implementinternational marketing programs including trade and consumer promotion activities;
Formulate long term marketing plans and strategies for China and Taiwan travellers and visitors;
Build and enhance trade relationship;
Spreadhead marketing initiatives and programs with organizations in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan;
Identify business opportunities for trade and consumer promotions;
Manage stakeholder relationship with hotels, inbound tour operators, govertment bodies, etc.;
Control and monitor department's expenditure and performance; and
Develop the team.
Requirements
University graduate with at least 10 years of experience in tourism and good understanding of the needs and interests of the visitors from China and Taiwan;
Proven travel trade management background with marketing focus;
Good contacts with local travel trade;
Strong language skills in English, Chinese and Mandarin;
Solid managerialand interpersonal skills;
Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, proactive and able to establish good relationship and to negotiate effectively with both internal parties and external stakeholders; and
Willing to travel when required.
