Senior Manager - Partnership Development Post Date: 27 Feb 09Responsibilities

Foster good relationship with stakeholders in the tourism related industries, such as retail, dining, attraction and tours
Implement various quality upgrade initiatives for elevating travel industry quality services standard
Sustain and enhance the existing qualityscheme in retail and restaurant sectors and grow the scheme in other visitor’s related industries so as to stay ahead with other competitive destinations
Continuous looking for partnership development opportunities and solicit trade support and participation to company initiatives
Formulate, implement and monitor partnership programs covering different visitor relevant sectors, including retail, dining, attraction and tours, to enhance visitor experiences, with programs customized to meet the needs of different market segments
Formulate and implement creative marketing platforms to reinforce destination strength in shopping, dining, attraction and tours through packaging or re-packaging of new existing merchant services and offerings to help stimulate visitors spending


Requirements

12 to 15 years’ relevant experience in marketing and sales or business development of which with 5 years are in management positions / department head level
Good knowledge and understanding of the retail and restaurant industry with solid connection with the trade, preferably with tourism industry experience
A highly tactful and skilful negotiator with proven track record in partnership development projects
A seasoned creative marketing professional from the consumer industries with in-depth knowledge of the commercial environment and highly customer focused
A proven leader with strategic mind, results-oriented, excellent management capability and influencing skills
Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, proactive and able to establish good relationship and to negotiate effectively with both internal parties and external stakeholders
