Executive, Tourism Resource Centre Post Date: 02 Feb 09Responsibilities:
Administer the centralized photo and video collections and implement a licensing system
Manage the Image Bank and its Photo Libraries on HKTB websites
Provide desktop research service to facilitate strategic planning and information-based decision
Provide guidance to teammates, temporary workers and suppliers and perform quality control of works submitted
Assist in ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements:
University graduate with a general bachelor degree and a diploma in library and information science. Master of Library and Information Science a definite asset
Minimum 4 years of working experience, preferably in a library or resource centre
Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct desktop research using proprietary databases and Internet resources
Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, Chinese Word Processing and Power Point
Detail-oriented, well-organized and can work under pressure
