Key Responsibilities/Challenges:
Responsible for all aspects of travel insurance portfolio in Hong Kong, including: People management, Business development, Distribution management
Manage a team of people within the Travel Insurance team in the Hong Kong Office
Conceptualize, implement and drive travel insurance strategies for the country, working closely with the Regional team
Responsible for managing all profit and loss aspects of the travel insurance portfolio, with focus on meeting and exceeding revenue and profit targets
Manage all travel insurance distribution channels, including insurance agents, travel agents, travel industry, brokers, airlines and alternative
Identify and develop new sources of customers in the country
Work with key insurance company internal partners and stakeholders to expand the scope of travel insurance in the country
Manage customer service relationships with centralized and country service platforms and ensure excellence in service levels
Drive automation and operational efficiency improvements
Skills and qualifications
University graduate preferred
At least 5 years experience in the international travel industry, or in the consumer insurance industry
Experience in managing businesses and teams of people
Previous involvement in business development and/or sales is preferred
Strong interpersonal and motivational skills (good people manager)
Strong communication skills (sales-oriented)
