IT Technician Sep 08Responsibilities:
Perform regular system monitoring and health check
Maintain all computer hardware
Assist Operations team to implement and maintain defined procedure within data center
Perform data backup tape library operation and data backup cartridge management
Handle phone calls and assist daily data center operation
Requirements:
Form 5 with certificate or diploma in computer related discipline
MCSE, MCP or holder of other Microsoft certificates an advantage
Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT related, help desk & data center operation
Hands-on experience in desktop/ server hardware, LAN administration, networking, Windows NT/2000
Knowledge of Cisco networking device, setup and system commands
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to learn, highly responsible, independent and work under pressure
Work from afternoon to evening
