Consultant (Programmer), Financial Services Sector Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will involve in all stages of the system development life cycle. Assignments will range in complexity from writing programs, testing, supporting application systems, to assisting in the development of business solutions and technical applications.
To qualify, the ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent with 3 to 4 years of experience in systems development and implementation. You should have:
Development experience in Microsoft Windows, .Net or J2EE platform
Strong programming skills in one or more areas: Visual Basic, VB Script, Crystal Report, Visual C++, C#, ASP, Java (JUnit, Swing, JMS, EJB, Hibernate, Spring, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services), SQL Server, Oracle, Windows
Hands on experience on UML methodology and case tools such as Rational Rose is preferable
Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry especially on imaging, payment, risk management, anti-money laundering, fraud or retail delivery solutions would be an advantage
Good communication skills in English and Cantonese, Mandarin optional
