Executive, Corporate Communications Post Date: 09 Jun 09Responsibilities:
Help prepare corporate documents/materials including press release, speeches, Annual Report and various types of documents for external distribution locally and/or worldwide

Maintain quality control and provide editorial support (from English to Chinese or vice versa)

Help co-ordinate with freelance translators or writers on editorial projects


Requirements:
Degree holder in Translation/Chinese Language/English Language with minimum 4 years¡¦ relevant experience in editorial/translation (English and Chinese)

Attention to details, speedy and accurate English typing and Chinese word processing

Good communication skills in written & spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua skills will be an advantage

Willing to work overtime. Able to work independently and under pressure

Knowledge of public affairs and tourism industry preferable

Senior Executive, Product Marketing - Greater China (Contract upto 31 October 2009) Post Date: 09 Jun 09Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the appointed vendors, advertising agency and internal functional teams on the planning and production of various marcom materials in supporting segment programmes and mega event promotions

Responsible for the production, content update and printing of various publications

Ensure all the production materials done within budget and comply the company¡¦s procurement requirement

Assist in ad-hoc projects assigned by Manager


Requirements:
University graduate, preferably in Marketing discipline with at least 6 years experience in marketing communications

Experience in working for or with advertising agencies and strong marcom knowledge

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing

Work under pressure and handle production jobs within short lead-tim


The successful candidate will be engaged on contract terms for about 4.5 months.

Responsibilities

Report to the Senior Manager, Conventions, the incumbent supports the implementation of worldwide marketing strategies to grow the conventions travel to Hong Kong
Develop and manage worldwide database for business leads generation and account servicing
Manage destination support activities to deliver a quality experience to conventions visitors and reinforce Hong Kong as a premier destination for conventions
Build and maintain close relations with trade partners, event agencies and industry associations for smooth execution of all conventions
Support in research and analysis to facilitate business planning of management
Manage regular reporting and budgetary control
Assist in ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements

University graduates with over 8 years’ experience in marketing, experience in the travel industry preferred but not necessary
Excellent marketing flair and experienced in various promotional tools
Strong written and verbal communication skill and excellent presentation skill to liaise with stakeholders such as senior government officials, event organizers, business leaders, variousinternal departments and overseas offices
Attuned to industry trends and analytical ability
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Strong linguistic skills in English, Chinese and preferably Mandarin
Willingness to travel from time to time
