Temporary Executive, Corporate Communications (2.5 months' contract) May 09Responsibilities:
Help prepare corporate communications documents/materials for internal and external distribution locally and/or worldwide

Provide editorial support and maintain quality control of corporate communications materials

Assist in other corporate duties as assigned

Requirements:
Degree holder in English Language/ Chinese Language/ Translation, with minimum 5 years¡¦ relevant experience in corporate or editorial domain

Attention to details, speedy and accurate English typing and/or Chinese word processing

Highly proficient in written & spoken English and/or Chinese. Putonghua skills will be an advantage

Willing to work overtime. Able to work independently and under pressure

Knowledge of public affairs and tourism industry preferable


The successful candidate will be engaged on contract terms for about 2.5 months.

Be integrally responsible for the overall marketing, communications and strategic direction of the group. You will achieve this by leading a dedicated team in the areas of sales, marketing, PR and events to achieve monthly budgeted targets. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this challenging role will involve, but not be limited to

Develop and implement Sales and Marketing strategies for the Group’s F&B outlets
Continue to enhance the brand image of the group and the profile of each themed outlet
Lead the company’s significant PR activities, both in Hong Kong and internationally
Build strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with key business partners
Liaise with tourism bodies and destination marketing associations to grow awareness of the group
Preparation of annual plans and budgets to ensure achievement of company goals
Ensure structure of the Marketing Department and staff skills are aligned with these goals
Ensure good teamwork and cooperation with other departments
Devise and implement marketing promotions
Drive our revenues from Events with corporate customers, especially Hong Kong's leading companies
REQUIREMENT

Marketing and sales professional, with experience in hospitality or catering industry
At least 10 years of relevant experience, 5 in senior management role
Strong F&B knowledge in a wide range of cuisine preferred, especially in Italian, French, authentic Chinese, Japanese
Results and revenue driven with a strong commercial acumen is paramount. Proven leadership and people management experience along with effective communication and interpersonal skills
Must be creative, articulate and have new and innovative ideas in terms of sales and marketing
Cost conscious and goal orientated with excellent negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills in both written & spoken English and Chinese
